The magenta beads have a gold iridescence that goes beautifully with the gold silk jacket.
This little quilt is nothing but an experiment with new materials and techniques: silk, beads, framing. The all-silk quilt is slightly raised from the printed-fabric background, and both are placed in a shadow-box frame.
