Sky Mirror

46" x 46" | 2020
Sky Mirror1200.jpg

The sky mirror reflects how day turns to night—left half to the west, right half to the east, upper half in clear weather, lower half in cloudy.

This quilt was obviously inspired by the work of Victor Vasarely, the pioneer of Op Art.  As a color study, it brings unity to a variety of bright colors by embedding them in black.
