Crack of Dawn

If present in equal amounts, the colors in the mostly-pink-and- gray print fabric would be ugly.  In highly unequal proportions, they are fresh and lovely.  (The fabric comes from Victoria Findlay Wolfe’s line.)

 

The print suggested to me a city, and the main colors suggested to me dawn, hence dawn in a city.

Exhibited in the juried show Eye of the Needle, SAQA Pennsylvania, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, October-November 2018. 

Awarded Third Place in the Small Pieced Wall Quilt category, Brownstone Quilters' Guild Celebration of Quilts, Allendale, New Jersey, November 2019.
