Yellow Making Love to Red

I had been experimenting with this squares-and-corners geometry for some time when I started imagining it in these colors. This is the second quilt I have made in the deep-red and golden-yellow color combination, even though I didn't realize how much I liked it.
Designing this quilt distracted me during the early months of the Covid-19 epidemic, and it got finished much faster than usual.
The title, well, that's what it looks like to me. Yellow searches and penetrates, red absorbs and envelopes, each influences the other, and neither dominates.
